How to Choose Your Broadhead
2 Blade vs. 3 Blade vs. 40KE vs. 125 Grain vs. Titanium
All RAGE products, the 2 Blade, the 3 Blade, the RAGE 40KE 2 Blade, the new 125 grain 2 Blade and the new Titanium 2 Blade, are exceptional broadheads. All feature rear blade deployment and are guaranteed to be fully deployed at entry.
The bottom line is that all are great options. The 2 Blade gives you a more dynamic entry hole while the 3 Blade gives you more cutting surface and slightly better penetration. If your looking for a harder hitting broadhead the new 125 Grain 2 Blade is for you. The all new Titanium 2 Blade is a better choice for durability and its over-sized instant-cut tip causes massive damage.

Titanium - 100 Grain
Titanium's superior strength-to-weight ratio means a smaller, tougher ferrule, which allows for a larger instant cut tip and better penetration.
Summary
Titanium 2 Blade:
- Huge, gaping entry holes
- Wider cutting swath
- Dramatic bloodtrails
- High durability Titanium design
3 Blade - 100 Grain
The RAGE 3 Blade, because of the extra blade, has more cutting surface and, in spite of this additional cutting surface, actually penetrates slightly further than a RAGE 2 Blade.
Summary
RAGE 3 Blade:
- More cutting surface
- slightly better penetration
40KE - 100 Grain
For those who shoot a lesser draw weight or have a shorter draw length, both of which result in less kinetic energy, we recommend the RAGE 40KE. The 40KE description stands for 40 foot pounds of kinetic energy; the cutoff below which shooters should shoot this product. This 2-blade head features a more relaxed cutting diameter (1.5"+) for enhanced penetration.
Unsure if the 40KE is right for you? You can use our Kinetic Energy Calculator to help you decide.
Summary
RAGE 40KE 2 Blade: For those who generate less than 40 foot pounds of kinetic energy, i.e. those with a lighter draw length or lesser draw weight.
